Springing Families Forward (SFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to bridging the gap by connecting marginalized communities with needed resources to obtain total mental wellness. As a sister arm to Spring Eternal, SFF was created in 2014 because we quickly realized that our mental health clients were not fully reaching their potential in therapy due to the lack of resources. Children were hungry, parents were dealing with financial strains and educational deficits were creating problem behavior in the classroom. Our purpose is to provide education, prevention, intervention, and outreach services designed to assist in improving the overall mental health and well-being of citizens. We offer a range of services, including free and discounted mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, parenting and anger management classes, free tutoring and other outreach initiatives.

At SFF, we believe that access to mental health and educational resources is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our initiatives, such as the Radical CARE event, provide essential services like health screenings, COVID-19 vaccinations, and support for the unhoused population. Additionally, our food pantry addresses food insecurity, recognizing that basic needs must be met to facilitate recovery and growth. Our discounted or free mental health services help with decreasing barriers to treatment. By offering these comprehensive services, we aim to create a foundation for healing, hope, and a brighter future for the communities we serve.
