OKC LATINA

OKC Latina is a community for Latinx/e in Oklahoma City and beyond. We curate third spaces for people to feel more connected to their culture and their city. We cultivate this through a robust social media presence, strategic partnerships and free or low-cost programming aimed at bridging the gap between our neighborhoods and the greater Oklahoma City community.

 

Camp OKC Latina is a free, community-driven fishing program designed to connect Latinx youth and families with the outdoors. Through a series of seasonal fishing clinics and hands-on learning experiences, we foster skill-building, environmental appreciation, and cultural connection. Participants receive free fishing equipment, licenses, and access to a welcoming space that promotes outdoor recreation for all. By breaking barriers to entry, Camp OKC Latina is creating a new generation of anglers while strengthening family and community bonds.
